June 3, 2009 - Happy Birthday!!

Hello my beautiful family!!!!

ah!! I am overwhemeled I am having the best birthday ever!!!! My Lakers won ya!!!! Tell Max that I predicted that! and the Lakers will beat the Magic in 7 games. Can you tape each game and put it on a cd! That would be sweet to watch when I get home. Anyways busy day yesterday! I went on exchanges with Elder Bantillan, he's from Hawaii his chinese is way biaozhun.. oops lol uh standard. Really good! Wow my english is degressing. So I got to go to Tainan in the 4th ward there. We had a correlation meeting and Elder Linderman was there, it was nice to talk to him again. It was way hot yesterday and we rode a long way throughout the day! It was a good workout tho. The zone leaders apartment is 30 min from the church so quite a long commute with traffic and everything! Tainan is beautiful it has a river that splits the city in two. I wish I had my camera, but we aren't allowed to take picture's other than p-day! So this morning we woke up and I realized I was 21 wow I am an official adult now!

Yesterday was hard tho I have a sore throat and coughing up flem. So Elder Bantillan gave me a blessing, I am feeling a little better now. Nothing better than starting my birthday out than with a blessing huh! Man I love Elder Bantillan he is a stud and I learned a lot from him! So we met Elder Welling and my companion back at the Tainan train station and all 4 of us ate at a nice breakfast shop! Everyone was so nice wishing me a happy birthday. Then as we were eating it started pouring down rain...everyone laughed and said wow this is your first big rain storm. When I say rain I mean RAIN. As we were riding home in our rain gear I got soacked! Let me try and explain how Taiwan is. If you want to know, stand in the shower and turn it on full blast!!!!! Ya it was crazy! As I was riding I couldn't see 3 feet in front of me! Everyone was busting up cuz they said before typhoons it is worse!!!! Haha it was cool tho I felt like an astrounaunt with my boots on! Right now it cleared up and is a nice day. So after e-mail I am so excited to start my p-day. I talked to President Hsu on Sunday he came to our church to give a talk, and approved with him to allow me my companion 2 elders from my district and 2 from the Yongkang 1st ward I'm in the 2nd ward to all play 3 on 3 basketball at the church!!! Everyone agreed to play when they heard it is my birthday! They had other plans today but were more than willing to change them for my special day! haha I cant wait, I hope I still have my shot! So we are meeting at the church at 12 to eat with them and then play for hopefully 3 hours!!! I am so excited I havn't played since the MTC!!! Oh thank you so much for the flash drive and that refletive stickers I put them on my helmet! Also this morning when we got back I was showered with 4 letters from you and one from Aunt Pammy! Today I will defenitly send her a note! I got a sweet bookmark! Have you seen it? The character on there is xin which means faith (xinxin). Oh I am starting to learn characters I can read about 100 right now my goal at the end of this MOVE! yes not transfer.. is to memorize 1000 which is in one box that we need to pass off.
