Brother Bishop is a former counselor in a Provo Missionary Training Center branch, high councilor, bishop, gospel doctrine teacher and missionary in the Taiwan Mission. Pulmonary/critical care physician, Intermountain Healthcare. Born in Provo, Utah, to Francis Walker and Cleo Thorpe Bishop.

About 24 missionaries from the Taichung Zone, await the arrival of President and Sister Bishop, the new Taiwan, Taichung Mission President. President Bishop and his wife Nora were escorted to Taichung from Taipei early Wednesday morning June 30, 2010 by Michael and Laurie Hoer, the departing mission president.
